SMS Terms & 800-Number Opt-In
This page explains how you can opt in to receive SMS/text messages from Michael Ruiz Consulting L.L.C., what you can expect after opting in, and how to change your preferences at any time. You can provide this URL to carriers and to Twilio as the public description of our SMS program.
Michael Ruiz Consulting L.L.C. ("we," "us," or "our") may use one or more toll-free or local U.S. phone numbers, including 800-series numbers, to send SMS/text messages related to:
- Project updates and notifications about active or upcoming engagements
- Scheduling and appointment confirmations or reminders
- Important account, billing, or service-related notices (for example, milestones, approvals, or support follow-ups)
- Occasional educational content about web, AI, and business technology that is relevant to current or prospective clients
Message frequency will vary based on your relationship with us and the services you are using, but we aim to keep messaging purposeful and limited to relevant updates.
You may provide consent to receive SMS/text messages from us in one or more of the following ways:
- By submitting your mobile phone number in our website contact forms and explicitly requesting that we contact you by text.
- By signing a proposal, contract, or other written agreement with Michael Ruiz Consulting L.L.C. that includes consent to receive SMS/text messages.
- By texting a keyword (for example, "START" or another clearly advertised keyword) to one of our published business numbers.
- By providing your mobile number to us via email or verbally (for example, on a discovery call) and expressly asking that we send you updates or reminders by text.

By opting in and providing your mobile phone number, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number provided and that you authorize us to send SMS/text messages to that number using our 800 or other business numbers.
You understand and agree that SMS/text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology, and that your consent is not a condition of purchasing any services from Michael Ruiz Consulting L.L.C.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier that may result from receiving our messages.
You can opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from us at any time. The easiest way to opt out is to reply to any message you receive from us with:
- STOP – to stop receiving messages from that specific number.
- HELP – to receive additional information or contact details for support.

Delivery of SMS/text messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control. Messages may not be delivered if your mobile device is not in range of a transmission site, if your carrier is experiencing issues, or if you have blocked or filtered certain types of messages.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We respect your privacy. We use your mobile number only as permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law to provide the SMS/text services described on this page.
We do not sell your mobile phone number to third parties. We may share your number with trusted vendors (such as our messaging provider) solely for the purpose of sending and managing SMS/text messages on our behalf.
